Superb stargazing spot
Rockbridge Country Holiday Park is located in Wales’ first Dark Skies Community of Presteigne and Norton.
With very little light pollution, the night skies are ideal for stargazing and spotting planets like Jupiter and Mars, constellations such as Gemini, and, on clear nights, even the soft shimmer of the Milky Way.

To take advantage of this unique night-time feature, within the new Rockbridge Retreat holiday home development, there’s an observatory viewing dome.
With seating and a telescope, you can kick back and enjoy a starlit safari! If it’s chilly, wrap yourself in our blankets! There’s also a strong telescope on a viewing platform at the back of the park’s reception, so you really can view all areas.
With light pollution on the rise across the UK, places like Rockbridge, with low light pollution and high stargazing opportunities, are very sought after.
Rockbridge offers an escape for touring, motorhome and self-catering guests, as well as holiday caravans and lodges for those seeking a longer stay to buy.
