The tranquillity of sculptures and a water garden
Wherever we can, we like to showcase local produce and support local businesses. Our sculpture and water garden within the Rockbridge Retreat features pieces from local craftspeople whose work channels the feel of this unique area that straddles the England/Wales border.

Whether your visit is a short self-catering stay, a longer touring and camping break or you’re joining us as a holiday home owner, this glorious outside space is ideal for taking it easy and taking it all in!
Read your book to the sound of the cascading waterfall and the gentle swish of the kinetic wind sculpture or just lose yourself in the view down the valley or up into the hills.
'Dragonfly' – the logo of Rockbridge – sits in its own pond at the end of the water garden. It was designed and hand forged by Jake Hedge of Hedge Ironworks in Craven Arms.
'Ripples' – this unique, kinetic, wind sculpture was designed and made by Will Carr of Will Carr Sculpture in Weobley, Herefordshire. Kinetic art is related to motion and Will’s pieces are moving and flowing forms that create a link between art and surrounding nature. ‘Ripples’ moves in the gentlest of breezes but also moves elegantly in higher winds.
